Young Composer Workshop

Young Composer Workshop creates an opportunity for young musicians to learn about music theory, arranging, and composition techniques. In addition, students are taught self-promotion and other business related activities necessary for musician to achieve in today’s musical environment. Students are engaged in composition lessons using computer software and musical instruments such as piano and guitar. Guest composers are invited to share their composition techniques and their inspiration for writing music. The culminating event of the workshop is a concert of students work.
