Diaz Music Institute
Founded in 2000 by Artistic Director Jose Antonio Diaz, Diaz Music Institute (DMI) provides high-quality, culturally relevant music education to students across Houston.
Through innovative programming rooted in Latin jazz and contemporary music, DMI creates pathways for young musicians to develop their artistry, pursue higher education, and build meaningful careers in music and beyond.
